Mike & Laura Fix
Mike and Laura have been married 36 years and have two children - Kyle 34, married with two girls, three and 6 years old; and Alicia 31, married. Mike and Laura have worked in the ministry for 37 and 36 years respectively, in Florida, Boston and New Hampshire. Mike is an Evangelist and Elder in the Freedom Point Church. Laura served alongside him for the last 22 years as the Women's Ministry Leader and recently retired in December of 2022.
Laura enjoys oil painting, exercise, photography and English series. Mike likes hunting and golf. Both love spending time with family and friends.
Carl & Lori Christensen
Carl & Lori have were married on September 15, 2017. Lori has been a disciple since 1974 and Carl since 1985.
Lori graduated from Florida State University with a degree in education and immediately went into full-time ministry with her late husband Brad Bynum. They started in campus ministry in Kansas and led groups in Alabama, London, Florida, Massachusetts and South Carolina. Lori also worked as a middle school teacher for 13 years. Brad and Lori had three boys together, Justin, who is married to Bryanna and they have two children (Sam and Darcy), Jeff and Ben. Lori lost Brad to a heart attack in January of 2015 while he was on a Sunday afternoon run.
Carl graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in education. Prior to graduation, he spent three years playing professional soccer in the United States. After graduation, Carl spent nine years coaching soccer and basketball and teaching at the University of Vermont and Tufts University. In 1990, Carl and his late wife Rebecca were asked to go into full-time ministry. They spent six years leading various groups around the Boston area. Carl currently works for a private real estate investment and advisory firm and also serves as an Elder at Freedom Point Church. He is on the executive board at the firm and is a recognized expert in real estate tax strategies and real estate finance. Carl and Rebecca also had three children together, Sam, who is married to Jenna Marie, Jenna MacKay and Daniel. Carl lost Rebecca in December of 2013 to Multiple System Atrophy after a nine-year battle with the progressive neurological disease.
After being encouraged to meet by many mutual friends, Carl and Lori met and were married in September of 2017. Carl and Lori share a mutual love of walking in nature, reading a good book, discussing the deeper things in life, traveling to beautiful places and spending time with family and friends.
Greg & Leanne Martin
Greg and Leanne were married 32 years ago in Boston, MA. They have lived and raised their family in Kittery, Maine for the past 18 years. They have three kids: Troy age 29, Braelan, age 29, and Atencio age 28. Both have worked in the ministry in Boston and New Hampshire for a number of years — Greg since 1987 and Leanne since 1990. Greg currently works for John Hancock as a Sr. Operations Specialist while Leanne has a Financial Planning practice working with her son, Atencio (Two Tugboats Wealth Management).
Greg is an Elder and Evangelist in the Freedom Point church. Leanne serves alongside him and together they lead the Portsmouth Region of FPC. They enjoy exercise and fitness, watching sports of all kinds, and memory-making through gatherings with friends and family.
